Rules Summary : The City of Boulder permits short-term rentals (less than 30 days per stay) of primary residences and legal accessory dwelling units (ADUs) only. Short-term renting of a second home or investment property is not permissible. Primary residences are those occupied by the owner for a minimum of 6 months of the year. ADUs can be rented on a short-term basis for a maximum of 120 days per year.
