Rules Summary : An owner of a STR may not be a corporation, partnership, limited liability company, or similar corporate entity. One STRL/person. STR special use permits approval pursuant to the Sandy City Land Development Code and application form. Sales tax license issued by the State of Utah is required. Inspection is required. A STR is prohibited in all residential dwellings, residential districts, residential PUD districts and residential SD districts without first obtaining a STR special use permit as regulated in this section and being issued a valid short-term rental business license (STRL).
